Chisholm Kids Plus is a nonprofit coalition established by the Northland Foundation to improve the well-being of children and youth in the rural town of Chisholm, Minnesota. This year, the organization applied for the Office of National Drug Control Policy's Drug-Free Communities Support Program. With the assistance of eCivis' grant writing team, Chisholm Kids Plus won a $625,000 matching grant that will go toward substance prevention efforts among youth in Chisholm.
The grant will provide $125,000 each year over 5 years. With matching funds provided by community-based foundations, the grant funding will be used for marketing efforts to curb alcohol and drug abuse and for day-to-day coalition operations. Funding will also go toward law enforcement and volunteer alcohol and tobacco compliance checks.
eCivis is proud to help the coalition reach its goals and better the community. You can read more about our client successes here. Write us at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us how grants are helping to improve your community.
