The Federal Emergency and Management Agency (FEMA) Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) Grants support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters from fire and related hazards. The primary goal of the program is to reduce injury and prevent death among high-risk populations.

This year's FP&S application period will open Tuesday, February 18, at 8:00 a.m. EST, and close Friday, March 21, at 5:00 p.m. EST. eCivis Grants Professional Services has 16 FEMA grant writing specialists ready to assist you with full grant writing services or editorial peer review of your application. Contact us if you need any help at all.

ARRA Reporting to End on March 19

Seems like just yesterday (2009) that President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to help restart the economy. As of February 1, 2014, Congress has ended the reporting requirement for Recovery Act awards. Recipients will have until March 19 to review reports on FederalReporting.gov and to make changes as needed. They will also have until March 19 to submit an Automatic Data Change request to make changes to a report from a quarter other than Quarter 4, 2013. Questions may be emailed to the Help Desk at FederalReportingHelpDesk@ratb.gov through March 19.
