More on the OMB: Though the OMB has not yet given an official expected release date for the OMB Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement, AICPA informed me that the final draft of the document is available and that the OMB does not expect any significant changes. Uncle Sam’s Streamlined SAM: The System for Award Management (SAM) will combine eight federal procurement systems and the CFDA into one new system come late July, making certain federal funding processes smoother (and now you’ll need just one password to access these systems!). Use It or Lose It: The GAO last month identified nearly $800 million in funding remaining in expired grant accounts in the Payment Management System. The GAO report includes revision suggestions to the OMB on future guidance to better target undisbursed balances.
