An active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is a requirement for receiving an AFG award. To underscore this point, FEMA sent an email reminder in May to subscribers titled "No SAM Registration? No AFG Award!" Clearly this is still an issue. Registration in SAM is free. To register, or validate your information, please visit https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Also check out the AFG Awards for 2013.
